The purpose of the foundation is:

• To give a contribution towards the improvement of the living situation and upbringing of the underprivileged youth in the neighborhood of Old Tafo in the town of Kumasi.
• In cooperation with the Presbyterian Church in Old Tafo, to give children in this neighborhood the possibility to follow kindergarten, basic and continued education in the Rockanje School. (Building is named after the residence of the initiative takers)
• By participating in vocational training in the Oostvoorne Technical Youth Center, the youth will be given a chance to succeed in the society.
• Together with the Presbyterian Church and school board, to create possibilities to make this school project in Old Tafo independent from the Netherlands in the future, by the creation of small private businesses.
• Through cooperation and a bond of friendship between the population ( and the Rockanje School) of the neighborhood of Old Tafo-Kumasi and the inhabitants (and the schools) of the municipality of Westvoorne and surroundings in the Netherlands, to further understanding, by means of information, education, lessons and education.
